Knowing that rl money transfer is an issue.... and since we came in third and the amount of rl money isnt that big of a deal per person for third. May I request that instead of rl money I recieve the equivalent or near equivalent worth in plex?
Money stays here in your game and helps my in game wallet 8).

To CCP.
In reguards to the email I recieved about payment.
I am very uneasy abut giving out my bank number, routing number and account number. I realize that is how you have chosen to pay us for this tourney. However Might I request that I recieve an isk or plex equivalent of the money that is to be awarded?
I do understand that that may not be an option and if it is so I will waive my prize. As all that information would give unlimited access to my bank accounts.

I don't think that's correct. I'm not sure what a routing number is, but bank and account numbers are certainly not secret information and should not allow anyone access to your account (other than sending you money). Have you actually called your bank and asked about that?
Thanks for the thoughts faffy, but as im a person that specializes in criminal activity per se, I know how easy it is to do bad things witht the simpilist of information.
Now dont get me wrong, I am not nor would I ever accuse CCP of this kind of activity. Just in my line of work you learn to trust noone with your personal information, that as you have already stated, is not already public information. Similar example is that my credit card info is personal information that any company can get from my purchase records, but the would need the full security code from the back of it to do anything, so needless to say I would feel uncomfortable giving that out 8).
Like I stated, I know its a wierd thing from me and i mean no disrespect by any means. And again if its too much hassle, I will waive my portion of the money and look foward to the next tourney.

In all seriousness I would wager that the prize money was actually supposed to come from OwnTV, or whatever their name was. Now CCP is doing their best to hold up another companies end of the bargain, as that other company no longer exists.
I know that the guys in first and maybe even the ones in second would much rather have cash than a plex prize alternate...... however if actual cash is too difficult to give out, then I would be just fine with a plex alternate 8).
But yeah I guess they are trying to work with own, to get everyone their money.... |

can i just get my equivalent rl money worth in plexes?
This is way too much of a headache, and it seems this route would be easier for both parties. |

I know people are going to hate me for this, but............
Lets not forget that it was Own3d that was going to pay us. CCP has no obligation to give us money, and the fact.... no matter how long it takes, that they are going to fill Own3d's part of the bargain is fantastic. Lets try to give these guys some slack. 8).
Also CCP I would love a plex option 8).
lol, but I'll try to give you a thanks shout out, in the midst of all this uneasyness.

I was paid in plexes the day after I sent my e-mail back jass.... so hopefully it will be soon. |
